5-10 October 2009. The “machine tool world exhibition” promoted by CECIMO, European Committee for the Co-operation among Machine Tool Industries, is again hosted in Milan, the busiest and, at the same time, the most fashionable among the Italian cities, which is offering an extraordinary novelty to the protagonists of the exhibition: the state-of-the-art exhibition centre fieramilano.

Record sizes, a total space usability, very advanced technological facilities, exceptional ”liveableness”: the new “Fiera Milano” fairground, capable of redefining the world exhibiting standards, warrants, for EMO MILANO 2009, operating conditions that are adequate to the importance and to the prestige of the event and of the enterprises that are its protagonists.

A result of the innovative project signed by Massimiliano Fuksas, the fairground has eight pavilions (two of them are two-storied).
The pavilions are practically without any pillars or structural encumbrances, in order to ensure extraordinary accessibility and visibility to all booths.
Each pavilion (covering a surface of about 37,000 sq. m), has reception desks, bars and restaurants, conference rooms and office areas.
It is possible to enter the pavilions not only from the central avenue, but also from the elevated tunnel, walking under shelter, in an air-conditioned room.
